Troubleshooting - Waste Unit and Motor Unit Bind and Get Stuck

1. Rarely, SmartScoop may get "'stuck" near the edge of the litter pan. |
2. Turn SmartScoop off.

3. Next, unlock the clutch.
|
4. Slide unit back into the "ready" position. SmartScoop can now be powered on to operate normally.

5. If you cannot move the unit back into the "ready" position, you may need to unlatch the waste unit in addition to unlocking the clutch.
|
6. Remove the waste unit by pulling it upward and reset SmartScoop. This malfunction rarely happens and is usually caused by improper operation.
